offered as Strombus persicus Swainson 1821 Very beautiful exceptional bicolor and glossy, lessepsian migrant species
from Red Sea. From the aperture till the middle of the dorsum plain pale orange and cream color without pattern and then
till the lip white background with attractive yellow, tones of brown, blackish and beige pattern. Bluish/white and orange
aperture and lip with few blackish marks. Has few slightly growth lines, micro defects and few nicks doesn't detract from
it's overall beauty. Collected from my daughter Korina by snorkeling at 2-3 m. on sand. Kiriamadi beach, Lasithi, North
East Crete, Greece 18 August 2015 |
