| Note | Monjes. Venezuela. F+/F++ Monster size. In front of you can see a very rare and unique specimen. It was found at the depth of 50-60 metres by poachers. This shell unique yellow/orange background with very dark, almost black pattern makes it the only one of its kind. I name to this specimen as to V.musica new subsp. although it may turn out to be of a completely new species Voluta. The colour of the shell is similar to V.ebraea species although all other characteristics bear all resemblance to V.musica species, which, however, are found at the depth of 5-20 metres and belong to a other habitat. I once saw a similar shell in another collection but none for sale. Don't let this unique NIGERISH Voluta slip through your fingers.
