Note | Newly described species--differs from erinacea by it?s sutural blotching and siphonal markings. The specimens collected in Hawaii seems to be Kayae verses erinacea. Occasional erinacea comes up by rare in Hawaii. The species is usually totally absent of pattern--Rarity is specimens having the flame or vibex markings.
