| Note | Perotrochus westralis (Whitehead, T., 1987) off Seringapatam Reef to Ashmore Reef, Timor Sea, Western Australia on mud at 450m depth. From a very interesting location, the north eastern extension of the westralis documented population, taken by deep water trawling on the ocean floor at 400m along the ridge which forms the isolated chain of reefs leading over Imperieuse Reef direction to Onslow, mostly some 200 miles off the Australian continent.
A very interesting shell and suitable for a connoisseur collection. |
