From the famous Mayer collection, at 135g weight this is a super massive specimen with the original collection number pencilled on the shield in China ink, the spectacular double shoulder form which is exceedingly rare and of breathtaking beauty, a flawless piece and of great significance, no longer found like this, huge and thick shield, lovely color and natural gloss. Collected in late 1960's. |
