Mappa eluceta are more commonly known from the Marshall Island Group, so this is an interesting location variation and unique specimen. Particularly bulbous, heavy Callus specimen and larger than average. Graded FINE+++ with a soft growth crease. Scuba diver in 45M, Siaes Caves, Palau, Micronesia. Commons with the provenance of the Felix Lorenz Collection and the Kim Back Collection. Great Conchological specimen. |
