Conus Minnamurra is one of the rarest Coniidae here in Australia. For example, it is more rare than Conus gabelishi and is represented in very few coniidae collection around the world. Trawled from deep water, very few specimens of any quality exist. This specimen, like most has a broken lip and a growth line. Regardless the protoconch and spire are complete and the specimen exhibits great colour. Trawled in 120M. to 150M. off Mooloolabar, South Queensland.
