Note | This specimen of Amoria undulata is heavily covered in RED SEDIMENT MINERALIZATION, making some areas of the shell completely BLACK. It is an attractive specimen and always a talking point regarding the colour variation of Amoria undulata from different locations around Australia. This specimen is graded F++ due to the the columellar side of this specimen covered in grey silt inclusions along its length. This is a common feature with these specimens affected by it silty, mud environment, but adds to its character. Intertidal collected from Tasmania. |
