AMORIA DAMONI KEATSIANA: One of the BEST specimens I have ever seen of this endemic, deep-water, Northern Australian subspecies. A product of the legendary 1970s Taiwanese trawling operations undertaken off the Northern coast of Australia, the majority of examples exhibit either a poorly formed pattern, and/or suffer from growth and trawl damage. This specimen represents the zenith of quality, with no growth damage whatsoever, and a pattern formed with exceedingly rare perfection. For the Volutidae specialist or admirer of exquisite seashells who seeks a ‘top of the line’ example of this particularly beautiful form. Size: 82.4 mm (length). Grading: Gem.
