| Note | An impressive, very big and heavy example, with attractive colour also. It has a small, dark nacre blemish on the lower right, but the shell still displays extremely well. A couple of insignificant dots on the right margin, otherwise excellent. Canals are perfect. Trawled, 180-220m, offshore of the Point Hicks area, eastern Victoria, second half of 2017. These shells are the last of my high quality stock. They were selected from amongst hundreds, from a different batch than those that I sold in the recent auctions. |
