Note | Now, almost 20 year ago we had a very active scuba diving shell collectors in South Florida. Sadly, those days a now past and most of the divers in the group have moved or moved on to other activities. This very small Vexillum was among the shells that were often found. But now these shells are scarce. This specimen was found in 1990 and it is among the largest and surely most colorful example that was ever taken. |
