You are admiring for sure The most THICK LIP Vitularia salebrosa EVER!!! A dream exemplar for any Muricid collector. With this GIANT SIZE, , Original operculum, intact apex and the lip is exactly developed with the (Pinn aspecies) shell form. Making an unique CURVED lip form. For serious Muricids collector only. Really seldom seen Population with different form, pattern and colors as usual for the species. No erosion and no pin holes. GEM GEM! Found attached in buried Pinna species with mud and near mangroves about 2 and 3m deep. Laguna Tepalcates, near Manzanillo,Colima, Mexico. March 2018.
