ZOILA VENUSTA: Four truly outstanding, high-value venusta are offered in this sale, each representing a different rare colour form. Specimen 2: The BEST of the best of a rare and beautiful pale colour form. Numerous large, confluent, fawn-caramel dorsal maculae, upon a rich straw ground to truly spectacular aesthetic effect. High, near pure white margins; background hues of blue to labral margin; distinct pink register to columellar margin. Terminals pale creamy cinnamon. Ultra-large size. Exquisite proportions. Hypermature, with pronounced ventral callosity. Meticulously curated, with the appearance of having been collected this year. I have seen few specimens of this rare colour form to equal the current example, with such venusta now coming only from high-end private collections, and being extremely sought after upon the world market.
