The base side is almost normal, But the dorsal side is just a wonder of nature, i will never know what happen with this case after all. My friend Alejandro "Panda" Found it with me snorkeling and we where in shock both of us. Admiring this crazy attachement-overglazed, looks like barnacle form. Found accidentally because almost impossible to identify in situ. The most crazy shell i have found!!! Do not miss this unique chance. From my private collection!! This species are very famous, one of the most beautiful in the world and i am not talking about only the shell, the animal is just amazing!!! Mexican J. pustulata are much smaller than Panama shells, so this is an average size, not small. Found inside dead corals about 3 and 7m deep. Bahia de Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. March 2018.
