FUSINUS EXCAVATUS: The BEST specimen I have ever handled of this ultra-delicate Caribbean species. Superb colour and state of preservation. Fine spiral sculpture readily discrernible. Dark greenish brown mammillate protoconch intact. Ultra-clean, with no encrustation or erosion. Definitely for the Fasciolariidae specialist. Size: 50.6 mm (length). Grading: F++++; w/o.
