ALTIVASUM FLINDERSI: A superb, pure white specimen of the South Australian form of this much coveted endemic southern Australian species. Fully mature, recurved, crenulated outer apertural lip and columellar shield, with resplendent live-collected gloss. Exceptional quality, with virtually none of the typical heavy erosion associated with mature examples. Painstakingly cleaned to reveal its unblemished, vibrant white mature whorls. Size: 107.3 mm (length). Grading: F+++; w/o. Data: Off Port Lincoln, Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, Australia; upon coarse sand/rubble substrate, at night; 34 m; dived; 1999.
