Rugged exterior surface sculpture of well-developed broad axial ribs. Usually with major growth interruptions, however, in the current specimen these are negligible. Glassy mammillate protoconch intact. Seldom offered upon the world market, especially at this level of quality. A first-rate specimen for the Terebridae specialist. Size: 23.3 mm (length). Grading: F++++. Data: Off Sultana Point, Yorke Peninsula, South Australia, Australia; upon reef substrate, under slab; 4-5 m; dived; 1993. |
