| Note | Nice, big, fully mature, heavy, well callused, colorful shell. Live taken by SCUBA diver at Port McDonnell, South Australia at depth 2-4 meters in 2000. Pale color with perfect dotting on heavy callus. Gem. Notocypraea are hard to complete group of Cypraea. Not easy to get specimen shell in reasonable quality, live taken and with reliable data. I was busy since 1998- my first trip to Australia, trying to complete my collection of this group. COVID-19 quarantine time was the chance for me to go through my Notocypraea and share some samples with advanced Cypraea enthusiasts. |
