| Note | An outstanding large specimen of this RARE, endemic South Australian species, from the ‘old days’ of deep-diving, exhibiting beautiful subtle colour, and a superb pattern. The species is far rarer than most understand, and, with no fresh specimens having been collected for almost three decades, and being obtainable only from choice old collections, collectors are now beginning to appreciate the rarity and desirability of high quality specimens. Data: Thorny Passage, off Taylor Island, Spencer Gulf, South Australia, Australia; upon coarse brown sand substrate, at night; 24 m; dived; 1998. Size: 71.3 mm. Grading: Gem.
