| Note | Beautiful juvenile specimen of a very rare, elusive subspecies or form of L. cloveriana. Raybaudi Massilia and Prati Musetti described it in 1990 as a form with the name Lyria cloveriana acanthifera; Poppe in 1992 predated this form giving the name L. cloveriana gabryae as a subspecies. The characteristic, which suggested the previous name, is the presence of spines on the suture. Extremely difficult to find on the market. Fine++ |
