| Note | Large and very rare colored contraria with a beautiful translucent base. The dorsum is colored all by golden light brown, which I've never seen except for this contraria. The dorsum and margins are separated by a blue halo, while the base is as if seeing into the water.
Fine+. Unfortunately, it has some natural growth lines, and a minor chip near the spire. It has also a healed fault which may include sands. There are also some nacre losses on the dorsum. According to the original owner, it was collected in May 2017 by a trawler. Please feel free to request higher resolution photos and anterior/posterior photos. *NO PHOTOS EDITED OR ENHANCED. |
