| Note | ARGUS EYES......A one-off if ever there was one. Oscillations coating the dorsum are rare, but eyeballs staring out from oscillations are simply unheard of. Authentic argus eyes, if you will. Outrageously attractive. Vibrant background hues of pale yellow and mauve, crisp black spotting, and a uniformly straight mantle line complete this masterpiece. Glassy. Ultra-mature. Any pale backscatterings are reflections only. A 200€ start permits 4 images, deserved of this one-off (please take the time to view ALL images). A must for the collection. Grade: Gem-. Provenance: from my own collection. Taken by a local diver about 5-25m Bongao , Mindanao, Philippines. |
