Note | One of the BEST specimens of the JES Collection, and one of the very last ‘top of the line’ examples of this very rare, now exceedingly difficult to obtain, much coveted, ‘classic’, endemic southern Australian species I can provide. PERFECTION. Exceptional colour and pattern: beautiful delicate peach-pink-orange, with an abundance of tiny, pointillistic, evenly distributed flecks of caramel - precisley the kind of pattern sought by the connoisseur. Size: 32.3 mm (length). Grading: Gem. Data: Thorny Passage, Port Lincoln, Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, Australia; upon sand/gravel substrate, at night; 26 m; dived; 1994.
