| Note | Live collected !!!!!! I think this is the only specimen of this subspecies in the world caught alive. This specimen was found by chance in a fish cage trap forgotten by fishermans. The trapped fish died, which attracted this specimen. A stunningly bright and beautiful piece with a fantastic pattern and super shiny surface. This species is less common than leslieboschae and I think there will be no other chance to find a live specimen in the near future. Unfortunately, the sloppy fisherman damaged the lip of this specimen, but this does not affect the uniqueness and beauty of this shell. For specialists. |
