| Note | Sumptuous annulus rostrate, very elongated ends with streaks of rostration which correspond to the evolutions of the phenomenon of rostration, season after season, superb ivory base, ultra mature piece, discreet bites covered by the animal, this in no way detracts from the elegance of the room, attenuated by the mother-of-pearl secreted by the animal's coat. In perfect condition this piece would be priced at over € 4,500. This shell remains a piece of choice and a benchmark in terms of rostration. The price remains very moderate for this queen of good size. Not found these days, only in the 70's collections. For advanced collectors. Dive collected at - 3 meters, from " Ouen Island" South of the New Caledonia. |
