| Note | On offer here is a lovely PETITE specimen of Zoila perlae with super attractive cream margins highlighted with sparse spotting. The dorsum is moderately covered in black to light brown spots and these markings overlay a grey/beige coloured background. A classical shaped specimen with the typical pronounced protoconch, a common characteristic. Graded GEM-, can not really fault this specimen, if being extremely critical it has a very very soft and tiny natural crease. Available here for the collector that aspires to have such a rare species in their collection. At 41.0mm, it is only a few mm larger than the WRS (smallest). Taken by ROV in 85M on sponge lump on sand/silt substrate, off Dampier, N.W. Australia. ALL WHITE REFLECTIONS AND DULL AREAS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING. |
