| Note | Collecting Conus brunneus in shallow waters at the beginning for me was common to get them ligh and dark brown. A few cases with white patterns around like this exemplar. Superb nice wood dark background and crazy white pattern. F++ - F+++ for the species. Erosion near base and pin holes as usual in the spire area for all this rough species and in this Giant size. Found buried in sand-mud about 6m deep. Tenacatita, Jalisco, Mexico. March 2022. Collected by Eduardo Amador Moreno. Value: 16-26 euro. Good luck!! MEXICO PACIFIC |
