Locality | Mandurah, Western Australia |
Note | On offer here we have a Melo Miltonis, with very few of you, ever seeing or even being offered this specie still with it's periostricum intact.
These are rarely ever offered with this natural layer.
The periostracum in this cases is quite thin, smooth, glossy and transparent, such that it looks almost like a thin yellow varnish.
To top it off this is a GEM - 260mm specimen and of a nice size.
To find Melo Miltonis in this condition, with the periostracumis intact & the shell not sun burnt is extremely rare & you will not be disappointed with this specimen.
It's an exceptional specimen and doubt whether you will see this specie offered with this periostracumis layer intact very often.
Something Unique for your collection!!
