| Note | ROV collected in May 2019 from 240 metres of water southwest of Augusta. Found mantled up crawling on silty sand among sparse sessile growth. Heavy shell with distinct dark spots on a white mantle line that bifurcates a milky tan dorsal patch. It has a pale apricot base and margins. It has a well healed and re-glazed attempted drill hole on its columnar side and a small patch of nacre etch in it's basal nacre. These are indicated by green arrows in the photos. Fine+++. |
