On offer is a RARE opportunity to obtain a beautiful GEM specimen of Zoila perlae. A lovely PETITE specimen with super attractive cream margins lighlighted with sparse spotting. The dorsum is moderately covered in black to light brown spots and markings which overlay a grey/beige coloured background. A classical shaped specimen with the typical pronounced protoconch, a common characteristic. Understandably I have used the extra images that shellauction offer to convey these features as best as I can and documented the starting price at E1750, which I consider this specimen well in advance of this starting price. Graded GEM cannot fault this specimen, available here for the collector that aspires to have such a rare species in their collection. Taken by ROV in 85M on sponge lump on sand/silt substrate, West off Dampier, N.W. Australia. ALL WHITE REFLECTIONS AND DULL AREAS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING.
