| Note | This is the largest bakeri we have found. It was found in December 2022 nestled among dense sessile growth on the top edge of an undersea cliff in 165 metres of water to the south of Augusta. The shell has a warm pink dorsum with one brown spot and a pinkish cream base. Unfortunately at some point in it's life it has been bitten by a fish resulting in some nacre damage on both margins. The shell has survived to heal the damage with additional nacre. This is indicated by green arrows in the photos. Graded Fine+++ because of the exceptional dorsum which is basically without fault. Displays very nicely. |
