| Note | Fully mature good size shell with top callus and well dotted base. Nice shell with perfect canals and no obvious growth lines. There are two scratches on the back of shell( visible on the last photo), otherwise it would be Gem. F++. Nice numerous big brown dots are characteristic for marginata shells from Kangaroo Island, but this shell is from more rare location - Lacey Island, off Ceduna, SA. Live collected by shell diver at depth 28 meters in 2004 Hard to get this specie in any conditions in modern days. There are no more official shell divers in South Australia. I am selling a few top shells from my collection to support my escape out of the War. |
