| Note | World Record Cassis exdoxiae trawled in 140 metres of water in the East Timor Sea 3 weeks ago just North East of Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia.
It was caught in flat muddy bottom. Crabbed Shell F+
Spire in good condition but with small predator hole on left side. Has a hole in Labial teeth probably from a crab bite.
Syphon canal chipped. But over all displays excellent for its massive record size. Only about 15 known have been found. |
