| Note | Rosselli found west of Bernier Island are highly prized. The are exceptionally large, heavy and highly flared This heavy brute was collected from a purple globe sponge in 78 metres of water west of Bernier Island off Shark Bay in June 2019. In is graded Fine++ due to some minor growth irregularities ans a small area of nacre damage on its posterior labial flange as indicated by the green arrows in the photos. Large gems sell at prices around and above 3,000 euro. Fine++. |
