| Note | It was a a bit of a surprise to find this species on the Rottnest Shelf to the south of the Abrolhos Islands. This live specimen was collected in February 2023 from 252 metres of water, west southwest of Dongara, south of Geraldton. The
shell is small and mature with a thick lip. This may indicate it is a member of a dwarf population. As can be seen in the photos the shell has healed growth breaks on its anterior labial side. Few live collected specimens are known.Fine++. |
