Note | One nice and very large specimen (WRS?), measuring 34 mm in height and 39 mm in weight, of the rare endemic species Tegula euryomphala collected fresh dead among boulders at low tide. This is a rare species, found in only a few locations in Chile, where it is missidentified easily with Tegula atra, but distinguished by its deep umbilicus. This is your opportunity to obtain an interesting Chilean trochid for a rather low price.
The last study to record this species listed diameters up to 28.4 mm (see Veliz & Vasquez 2000.
