| Note | Heavy unspotted pink bakeri found crawling among sponges in 142 metres of water to the south Augusta in December 2022. As can be seen in the photos, at some point in the shells life, it has been bitten by a fish resulting in a large chip in its anterior siphon. Subsequently, the animal has healed the damage by coating it with substantial nacre making it a natural issue. Interesting shell. Without this issue I would price the shell north of 2,500 euros Fine+. |
