| Note | An amazing RARE specimen of Austrocypraea reevei f. microsphaerica RARELY OFFERED. It exhibits a wonderful dorsum, finely maleated (faceted) and along with its superb spherical shape defines its form name microsphaerica. This specimen has great presentation, graded GEM- with a tiny moon shaped ever so soft line and two ATTEMPTED base surface borer holes, BUT NO typical growth creases. AS GOOD AS THEY GET. Diver collected on sponge in a cave ledge, off Rottnest Island by a diver in 12M. ALL WHITE REFLECTIONS AND DULL AREAS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING. |
