| Note | This wonderfully symmetrical shaped specimen with a SUPERBLY FLARED BASE is well above average for the species. With a beautiful pattern and an amazing glassy, smooth dorsum. Rarely can one convey such a comment with this marginata form. Exhibiting amazing strong base edge crenuation and extended rostrate canals and canal plates. In addition, it exhibits a soft malleated, faceted dorsum. This quality specimen is graded GEM for the species. A very attractive specimen as seen in the images. Diver taken in low ledge at 18M, off Rottnest Island, Fremantle, W. Australia. ALL THE WHITE REFLECTIONS AND DULL AREAS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING. |
