| Note | This is an amazing opportunity to obtain this EXTREME RARITY, being that of the CORAL BAY JEANIANA. These specimens have not been collected for 10 years since the introduction of the "NINGALOO MARINE PARK" proclaimed in its current status in December 2013. Typically known for its extremely high cream frosted margins, best depicted in "Australia's Spectacular Cowries" Book, Page 135, by the late Peter Clarkson.
Images say it all, stunning specimen with high cream margins, graded F+++/Gem- with one micro nacre window that I have seen and a small nacre inclusion on the posterior canal base. Understandably I have used the extra images that shellauction offer to convey the features as best as I can and of course with these extra images comes the requested E200, an extremely low starting price for this specimen. Miss this opportunity and another will not happen. Diver collected in 30M on ridge sponge on shale substrate, off Coral Bay, N.W.Australia. ALL WHITE REFLECTIONS AND DULL AREAS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING. |
