| Note | Here is a superb DARK example of the consueta form. An exquisite, small shell with a soft brown marking becoming increasingly darker as it transitions across the dorsum and becoming BLACK on its columellar side. A soft blue halo, smokey grey margins and perfect canals make for a truly BEAUTIFUL shell. Graded Gem-/F+++ with a couple of very soft growth wobbles as all marginata have and a tiny singular fish bite on the dorsum. Taken by diver on a small white and yellow Geodia sp. B sponge in the far recesses of a limestone cavern at 13m. North of Carnac Island, Off Fremantle, W.A.
