| Note | This is one of the best marginata marginata examples i have seen. EXTREME PINK margins become a stunning uniform speckled pattern across the dorsum. Perfect canals and such a remarkable elongate shape are rarely seen in such condition as this specimen. Graded gem - with a very faint growth line towards the back of the dorsum however it does not detract from the shells overall beauty. Taken by diver in a small hole surrounded by host Geodia sp. B sponge inside a small limestone cavern at 21m. Northern side of Rottnest Island, W.A. April 2023 *All white marks are from camera reflection and further images are available upon request* |
