Note | On offer here is a flawless example of this uncommon species. A unique, DOUBLE-OVERLAP pattern is very unusual for rottnestensis and is rarely seen in such quality as this shell. Classic dark, chestnut brown pattern with a soft blue halo and HEAVY, MATURE calloused base complete this stunning shell. GEM+ grade for this flawless specimen with no faults that i can see. Taken on the underside of a small red/orange sponge on top of hard limestone reef at 11m. Western side of Stragglers Reefs off Fremantle, W.A.
