| Note | A classic mature, solid, heavy weight/size ratio Zoila beauty with minor tuberculation of the anterior extremity. The weighty specimen has an intriguing, remarkable and impressive dorsal pattern. Definitely a "gotta have" for any Australian cowrie collection. Obtained by Scuba diver on sponge at 15-18 meters off Albany, Western Australia. Specimen from old collection. There exists an anterior ramp subnacre wobble and minor posterior ramp dimples around the spire, typical of all members of the species. Grade: GEM minus. |
