| Note | A species that is rarely offered and particularly one that is a superb GEM specimen. Undoubtedly the RAREST ZOILA ON OUR COAST TODAY. An obvious characteristic of the delicatura is the purple/blue interior colour(99.9%) compared to the cream/yellow interior of the eludens, let alone their petite size, this one at 48.5mm. One of only a few specimens collected over a number of years. Graded absolutely glassy GEM without even a ripple. One for even the highest of quality zoila collections. Diver collected in 41 to 45M. in silt substrate on sand/shale bottom. Understandably I have used the extra images that shellauction offer to convey the features as best I can. A starting price of E3000 but still not to the value of this amazing specimen. ALL WHITE REFLECTIONS AND DULL AREAS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING. |
