| Note | This shell has a really nice pattern, with abundant white dots and a pretty chestnut color. It’s almost a perfect shell, but the only thing keeping it from being gem, is a really small chip it has in the lower right tip of the siphonal canal, shown in the pics.
It was collected by a local fisherman, in a rocky terrain, while diving at 13m deep, 25 miles off the Celestún Harbor. Found back in April of 2023.
