| Note | This is an interesting specimen, as the gray color band in the middle of the dorsum(sub-adult pattern) is wider than usual, giving it a unique look. The dotting pattern on this one is very nice, and it has a beautiful chestnut dark-brown color in the aperture. The siphonal canal is in perfect condition. It has a noticeable scar on one of the sides of the shell, shown in the pictures.
This shell was collected by a local fisherman, in a rocky terrain, while diving at 13m deep, 25 miles off the Celestún Harbor. Found back in April of 2023.
