| Note | This specimen has somewhat of a “crazy” pattern, some of the white dots on it are merged together, creating a bizarre-looking pattern. A very unique shell that would make a nice addition to any Cypraeidae collection. The siphonal canal is in perfect condition. The dorsum is nice, with some of the typical growth lines this species always has, though not perfect, as it has a scar on the lower right area of the dorsum, shown in the pictures.
This shell was collected by a local fisherman, in a rocky terrain, while diving at 13m deep, 25 miles off the Celestún Harbor. Found back in April of 2023. Starting price for all my Cowries is €1, so you decide the selling price. |
