| Note | Recently collected large, rotund and calloused fresh specimen. The thick nacred dorsum displays a dark grey primary color with an excellent distribution of blotching and spotting. Lovely specimen with great coloration. patterning and form. Highly collectible example of the species and larger than average with a favorable weight/size ratio. The porteri was snagged by tangle net at 200-220 meters off Balut Island, Mindanao, Philippines in 2023. Grade: GEM/GEM minus. |
