| Note | Wonderful display of vivid color, banding and china-white tenting denote this beautiful cone from the Andaman Sea. The overall impact visually of this specimen is memorable. The combination of form, balance of color and quality is hard to match. The shell was harvested by trawler at 100-120 meters offshore from the Mergui Islands, Myanmar in 2016. The specimen demonstrates a perfect apex, spire and body whorl with a slight palpable rough spot on the shoulder of the posterior lip. Grade: GEM minus. |
